Welcome to El Paso! As a newly arrived military spouse in our vibrant and welcoming community, we want to extend a warm invitation to you for an exciting tour of our city and its beautiful surroundings. At the El Paso Chamber, we understand that moving to a new place can be both exciting and challenging. We want to make your transition to El Paso as smooth as possible and help you discover all that this wonderful region has to offer. This tour is open to ALL active duty military spouses. With support from the Ft. Bliss Spouses' Association, we invite you to join us every first Friday of the month for a guided tour that will showcase the rich cultural heritage, stunning landscapes, and fantastic amenities of our city and its neighboring areas. Our friends at Visit El Paso will lead this tour around the region!

During the tour on Dec 1st, you can expect:

9:00 AM              Pick up at Fort Bliss

9:45 AM              Arrive to San Elizario 

                                     Experience the Presidio chapel, galleries, and museums in the area.

10:15 AM            Drive through Socorro

                                      Point out the mission, Three Mission Brewery, Wind Down, Bodega Loya  

10:30 AM            Drive to Ysleta Mission 

                                     Experience the Ysleta Mission

10:45 AM            Depart to Zin Valle Winery 

11:30 AM            Visit Zin Valle winery 

12:15 PM            Depart for lunch 

12:40 PM            Lunch can be in the Montecillo / Cimarron

1:45PM               Depart to Downtown 

2:00 PM              Walking downtown tour, experience Plaza Theater, Paso Del Norte Hotel and Plaza Hotel

2:30 PM              Return to Fort Bliss

Childcare will be provided during the tour hours by our partners at the Armed Services YMCA. Availability is limited and is offered on a first come first serve basis. Please make your reservation by contacting Nichole Carey at ncarey@elpaso.org .
