As a pilot of both airplanes and helicopters, a former Army officer in a Combat Aviation Brigade, and now a museum executive, Vanessa has dedicated her career to preserving aviation history while creating pathways for the next generation. Her leadership philosophy, shaped by military service, centers on service, clarity, and trust.

Through her work at the War Eagles Air Museum and as part of the Amigo Airsho leadership team, Vanessa champions programs that spark curiosity and build confidence for young people, especially women and Hispanic leaders, in traditionally male-dominated spaces. She frequently brings aviation directly to schools, proving that representation matters and that the sky is not the limit.
